Job Description

The Project Associate has to ensure continuous operation of nighttime all-sky airglow imager at Silchar Magnetic Observatory, Silchar. Has to carry out airglow observations, undertake instrument related maintenance works and send data to the PI and participate in data analysis. Preference will be given to candidates who has experience in optical instrument handling, data analysis and programming skills Job Type: Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 36 months Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 10/06/2025 Expected Start Date: 18/06/2025
