Project Assistant-I

As a Project Associate, your role will involve ensuring the continuous operation of the nighttime all-sky airglow imager at Silchar Magnetic Observatory in Silchar. Your responsibilities will include: - Carrying out airglow observations - Undertaking instrument-related maintenance works - Sending data to the Principal Investigator - Participating in data analysis Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in: - Handling optical instruments - Data analysis - Programming skills The job type is contractual/temporary with a contract length of 36 months. You will be entitled to paid time off. The working schedule is a day shift from Monday to Friday with weekend availability required. The work location is in person at the Silchar Magnetic Observatory in Silchar.
