Job Description

The Project Associate is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of the nighttime all-sky airglow imager at Silchar Magnetic Observatory, Silchar. Your primary duties will include conducting airglow observations, performing maintenance on the instruments, sending data to the PI, and actively participating in data analysis. Candidates with experience in optical instrument handling, data analysis, and programming skills will be given preference. This is a Contractual / Temporary position with a contract length of 36 months. Benefits include paid time off. The work schedule is during the day shift, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required. The work location is in person at the Silchar Magnetic Observatory.
