Project Architect - Data Centres

Role Overview: As a highly experienced Project Architect specializing in Data Centres, you will collaborate with the entire studio and lead teams to develop design solutions and coordinate through all phases of a project. Leveraging your industry expertise, design abilities, and technical acumen, you will be responsible for driving projects from concept through construction. Your role as a seasoned Architect and recognized contributor to high-profile projects will be crucial in ensuring design excellence and innovative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the design and delivery for various project types such as high-rise, commercial-office building led, or mixed-use, in different settings. - Lead project meetings and presentations, ensuring clients are briefed on project progress. - Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients" program requirements, standards, and policies to share with project teams. - Lead communication between project team, clients, contractors, and consultants. - Assist in establishing project budgets and milestone schedules in coordination with Design Manager and Design Director. - Anticipate and resolve complex technical and design issues during document preparation and construction administration. - Collaborate with various stakeholders including design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives. - Provide design and technical guidance to resolve design challenges and lead junior staff members. - Advocate for sustainability commitments and ensure sustainability is integrated into every project. - Define project sustainability targets in collaboration with clients and project teams. - Support team members in pursuing sustainability learning. - Contribute to office, regional, and sector business development initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Masters degree preferred. - Registered Architect with extensive portfolio of work, preferably in Data Centres. - 8+ years of project experience in architectural practice with experience in multiple practice areas. - Demonstrable experience in large projects with complex stakeholders. - Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills. - Advanced knowledge of architecture design principles, technical details, material characteristics, building codes, standards, and accessibility requirements. - Proficiency in design software including Revit, Rhino, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Navisworks. - Deep understanding and expertise in Autodesk Revit for design authoring, documentation, and project delivery. - Knowledge in sustainable design principles and previous experience in sustainable design projects preferred.,
