Job Description

PROJECT ARCHITECT ROLE The creative and detail-oriented Architect will serve as a key member of the assigned projects. Work on architectural, interior and fit-out projects from conception to execution towards translating client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs adhering to timelines and budget. RESPONSIBILITIES Concept Development and Design: Create design concepts based on client requirements, industry trends and functional needs. Space Planning: Develop floor plans, layouts and 3D renderings. Material Selection and Procurement: Coordinate with Managers to source and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and equipment achieving a balance between aesthetics, quality and budget. Client Communication: Present design proposals, mood boards and material samples for client approval. Coordination: Collaborate with consultants, site engineers, contractors and fabricators to ensure design specifications are met and resolve any design related challenges at site. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelors degree in architecture; 5 to 8 years of architectural and interior design experience in residential and commercial projects. Expertise in Autocad, Sketchup, MS-Office and any other rendering tools. Sound understanding of architectural design principles. Strong creativity and aesthetic sense to conceptualise innovative designs; conduct design research to make informed design decisions. Attention to detail with precision in drawings and specifications. Be objective in the selection of materials, finishes, furniture and equipment. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
