Project Accounting Manager

Project Accountant with expertise in greenfield project accounting

to manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for a large-scale industrial project. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 5+ years of experience in project accounting, and compliance within manufacturing or infrastructure sectors. Proficiency in SAP

(FI/CO module) is desired, and an ICWA qualification will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Accounting & Financial Management

Oversee financial activities for the greenfield project, ensuring accurate cost tracking,

budgeting, and forecasting.

Establish and implement project cost controls, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.

Ensure proper allocation of costs and expenses to respective project phases.

Monitor capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) within budget

constraints.

Collaborate with project teams for fund flow management and periodic financial reporting.

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Prepare and present MIS reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections.

Handle audits related to project accounting, working with internal & external auditors.

Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other tax compliances specific to project finance.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Work closely with project managers, procurement, and operations to track project

financials.

Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies for project financing and

compliance.

Support senior management with financial insights and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications  Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

5+ years of experience in greenfield accounting / project accounting

SAP-FI/CO experience Desired

ICWA / CMA qualification – Added advantage

Experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, or EPC projects preferred
