We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with strong expertise in HR operations, labour law compliance, ESIC, PF challan preparation, and employee relations within the automobile sector. The role requires managing manpower planning for production, workshops, and drivers, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting smooth HR operations in a fast-paced automotive environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Manpower Management Handle end-to-end recruitment for plant, workshop, drivers, mechanics, and administrative staff. Maintain manpower planning in line with production schedules and operational needs. Coordinate with line managers to identify workforce requirements. 2. Payroll, Compliance & Statutory Management Prepare and submit ESIC & PF challans on time. Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Shops & Establishment Act, Contract Labour Act, and other labour laws applicable to the automobile industry. Maintain statutory registers, records, and filings with authorities. Handle wage settlements, overtime calculations, and statutory deductions. 3. Employee Relations & Labour Law Act as the first point of contact for labour-related concerns and grievances. Liaison with labour departments, PF & ESIC offices, and government authorities. Ensure compliance with standing orders, working hours, safety, and welfare provisions in workshops and production units. Support in managing union negotiations (if applicable). 4. Performance Management & Training Implement performance evaluation systems for workers, drivers, and office staff. Identify skill gaps and arrange training programs for technical & non-technical staff. Promote employee engagement, discipline, and productivity improvement initiatives. 5. HR Operations & Administration Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift scheduling. Prepare monthly HR MIS reports (manpower, attrition, compliance status). Ensure smooth onboarding and exit formalities. Maintain employee records in HRIS/ERP systems. Key Skills & Competencies In-depth knowledge of labour laws applicable to automobile and manufacturing units. Strong expertise in PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and Wage Act compliance. Hands-on experience in PF & ESIC challan preparation and online submission. Ability to handle labour disputes, inspections, and audits. Strong communication, problem-solving, and people management skills. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources / Labour Welfare / Business Administration. 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in the automobile / manufacturing / transport sector. Strong background in statutory compliance, payroll, and labour relations. Proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS, and online portals of PF & ESIC. Knowledge of Hindi & local languages will be an added advantage for labour handling.
1. Corporate Governance: Act as the main point of contact between the management, and shareholders. Ensure the company adheres to corporate governance practices and complies with statutory regulations. 2.Board and Shareholder Support: Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, resolutions, and other documentation for meetings. Ensure proper record-keeping of Board meetings and shareholders’ meetings. Support Directors with any information required for meetings and decision-making. 3.Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure the company is compliant with all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Submit statutory filings (e.g., annual returns, financial statements, board changes) to regulatory authorities. Keep up to date with legal and regulatory developments affecting the company’s operations. Maintain company records, including registration details and corporate documents. 4.Legal Support and Advice: Provide legal advice to the management on issues related to governance, corporate structure, and operations. Ensure the company’s contracts and agreements are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 5.Corporate Filings and Documentation: Manage the company’s statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries. Ensure that all statutory filings, including annual reports and financial statements, are submitted in a timely and accurate manner. File and maintain corporate documents such as Articles of Association, Memorandums, and other key documents. 6.Risk Management: Identify and manage risks related to governance and compliance. Monitor and ensure the company’s risk management framework is robust and effective. Qualifications: Education: A degree in law, business administration, or a related field. Experience: Typically, a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in corporate governance, legal, or secretarial roles. Experience working with boards of directors or senior management is preferred. Skills and Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of corporate governance principles and compliance requirements. Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., Companies Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act). Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information with discretion.
