Programmer (Dev)

You will be joining Persistent as an OutSystems Developer, responsible for the core development of OutSystems web applications within an Agile environment. Your role will involve collaborating with team leads and various business segments to analyze and interpret business requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards. It is essential that you possess substantial hands-on experience in coding and designing solutions within Microsoft-based PC or web environments, with a specific focus on OutSystems development. As an OutSystems Developer, you will be expected to have a proactive approach towards problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient code. Your responsibilities will include developing functional components such as pages, processes, and custom UI elements in OutSystems, working on multiple assignments concurrently, and adhering to client standards and processes. Effective communication with tech leads and project managers to provide updates on progress, priorities, and any issues encountered will be crucial in this role. To excel in this position, you should possess an OutSystems Certification as a Web Associate Developer or higher, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience working as an OutSystems Developer. Proficiency in working with databases, designing data models, and building applications/services for web and mobile platforms using OutSystems is essential. Additionally, you should have a strong technical acumen in OutSystems architecture, general solution design, and tools like Service Studio, Service Center, and Lifetime. Your problem-solving abilities, collaborative mindset, and proficiency in English language (both written and spoken) will be key assets in fulfilling the requirements of this role.
