Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor - Information Systems

Job Description:

GITAM (Deemed to be University) invites applications for a faculty position in Information Systems within the GITAM School of Business. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and Post graduate courses, conduct research in the field of Information Systems, and contribute to departmental and institutional service.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Faculty of Information System are require to teach Big Data Analysis, Emerging technologies in Business, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Ecosystems, Digitalization in Business, Cyber security, Cloud Computing, R Programming for Analytics

• Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Advise and mentor students academically and professionally.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to service activities at the departmental, college, and university levels.
• Engage with industry partners and support student internship opportunities.

Education & Experience

• Ph.D. in Information Systems, or related field.
• Effective teaching or potential for excellence in teaching.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in IT, business analytics, or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated research record or potential for scholarly productivity.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and technology-enhanced teaching.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
