Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor - Information Systems

In this role at GITAM (Deemed to be University) within the GITAM School of Business, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Teaching a range of subjects such as Big Data Analysis, Emerging technologies in Business, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Ecosystems, Digitalization in Business, Cybersecurity, and R Programming for Analytics. - Engaging in scholarly research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. - Advising and mentoring students both academically and professionally. - Participating in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives. - Contributing to service activities at the departmental, college, and university levels. - Engaging with industry partners and supporting student internship opportunities. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Ph.D. in Information Systems or a related field. - Effective teaching skills or the potential for excellence in teaching. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in IT, business analytics, or cybersecurity. - A demonstrated research record or the potential for scholarly productivity. - Familiarity with learning management systems and technology-enhanced teaching.
