Job Description

Working in Production and Incident management.
Effectively handling the Compliance, Regulatory and Audit related work. Make sure the risk and compliance work items are closed on or before the timeline.
Work on audit requests and ensure the timelines are met. Escalate in case of challenges.
Co-ordinate and collaborate within the teams to get the production, risk and control work prioritized according to the deadline and track it to the closure.
Ensuring audit processes are followe'd and JIRAs are kept up to date.
Weekly updates on the audits and highlight the issues foreseen to meet any deadlines.
Working across Calypso as a back-office system gained through experience with settlements and accounting functionality.
Work across SQL and database procedures gained through either Sybase, Oracle or SQL-Server.
Provide daily application production support for applications working closely with our clients business team.
Assist with troubleshooting and infrastructure improvements.
Assist with developing and implementing IT solutions to meet business needs, according to established standards and best practices.
Conduct and support testing to ensure the quality of all deliverables.
Arrange Role swap, Patching, Vulnerabilities fixes, server reboot and other release activities in time, make sure deadline are not breached.

Skills and Experience Required

8+ years experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Good deadline management and communication for delays, slippages.
Good knowledge of Unix, SQL (Sybase), Windows Server and Java.
Experience on Ticketing Tools like GSD or Service Now or Remedy.
Experience of Scheduling Tools like Control-M or Autosys.
Troubleshooting and problem solving is essential.
Able to handle crisis situations without any slippage on timely communication.
Experience on Jenkins, scanning tools, JIRA and version control tools like GIT.
Experience on CI/CD pipeline and tools: Jenkins, Ant build, Maven.
Experience on Ansible or Other Deployment Tools.
Comfortable operating in an agile development team, self-starting, motivated.
Takes ownership, pride in delivered work.
Financial Services background.
Good to have ITIL framework knowledge.
Good to have knowledge of Back office Swift settlement and confirmations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Good to have an experience of Calypso as a back-office system gained through experience with settlements and accounting functionality.
Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity, Credit, FX and Commodities derivative products.
Knowledge of primary market Investment Banking products
