Production Supervisor/ Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of extrusion line operators and helpers.
• Monitor extrusion parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) to ensure consistent product quality.
• Set up, start up, shut down, and change over extrusion machines as required.
• Ensure raw materials, tooling, and additives are available for production.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Identify and resolve process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production reports, shift logs, and material usage records.
• Implement and enforce safety, housekeeping, and maintenance standards.
• Train new operators and continuously develop team skills.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and waste reduction.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Polymer Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in extrusion operations (plastic, rubber, aluminum, or related).
• Strong technical knowledge of extrusion processes and troubleshooting.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Basic knowledge of ISO / 5S / lean manufacturing principles.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.

Work Environment:

• Factory or production floor environment.
• Shift-based work (may include night shifts).
• Requires adherence to PPE and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
