Production Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production team. The ideal candidate will have 0-4 years of experience, preferably in sheet metal fabrication and assembly of parts in Kitchen Equipment/Machine Manufacturing. The preferred qualification is B.E. Mechanical or a diploma in mechanical. As a Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring all fitters are provided with material/parts, monitoring fitters on the floor plan, and achieving daily production goals. You will be required to fill up daily production and bending reports, manage the entire process from drawing receipt to dispatch/loading of jobs and equipment, and coordinate with internal departments for inspection. It is essential that you have experience and familiarity with drawing study, expertise in sheet metal fabrication (preferably in Stainless Steel), and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and Gas Burners. You should excel in reading and understanding drawings, be adept at managing people on the shop floor, and possess technical skills in welding and finishing processes. Additionally, you must be able to identify and report unsafe practices, draw up production schedules, and handle pressure situations effectively. The successful candidate will ensure that all workers wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and will be responsible for obtaining materials and components for required equipment. This role requires a good taskmaster who can ensure that production schedules are met and that the team operates efficiently.
