Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Typeset and structure academic or technical documents using LaTeX and XML, following publisher-specific formatting and style guidelines
Work in structured content workflows to convert manuscripts into print- and digital-ready formats with high accuracy
Use tools like PowerL2X, Desktop Emacs, Vtool, eMFC, and TeX Live for formatting, tagging, and conversion
Ensure correctness of references, equations, and markup with close attention to detail
Collaborate with publishing and editorial teams remotely to meet formatting and quality expectations
Maintain version control and configuration using tools like BibTeX/Biber and tlmgr

Key Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with LaTeX / TeX
Knowledge of XML tagging and conversion workflows
Familiarity with publishing tools: PowerL2X, Emacs, eMFC, tlmgr
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed formatting rules
Ability to manage projects independently in a remote work setting
