Production & Powder Coating

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the Production and Powder Coating processes in our furniture/metal manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, maintaining equipment, and optimizing the powder coating process to meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:Production Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily manufacturing processes.
• Ensure timely execution of production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor machine operations, workforce efficiency, and material usage.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards.
• Supervise a team of workers, assign tasks, and provide technical guidance.
• Work closely with the design, procurement, and quality control teams for seamless operations.
• Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of production machinery.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity and minimize waste.

Powder Coating Responsibilities:

• Oversee the powder coating process, ensuring proper application and adherence to specifications.
• Monitor surface preparation, pre-treatment, and curing processes.
• Maintain consistency in color, texture, and coating thickness per industry standards.
• Ensure the use of proper chemicals and materials for pre-treatment and coating.
• Maintain and calibrate powder coating equipment for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot coating defects such as peeling, uneven coating, and contamination.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to powder coating.
• Keep records of production output, wastage, and coating material consumption.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in furniture/metal manufacturing and powder coating.
• Strong knowledge of powder coating techniques, pre-treatment processes, and coating defects.
• Experience in operating powder coating booths, ovens, and spray guns.
• Proficiency in production planning, process optimization, and quality control.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, lean manufacturing, and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage a team and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to production challenges.

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with automated powder coating equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of eco-friendly and sustainable coating practices.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
