Production Planning and Control Engineer || Bengaluru

Role & responsibilities Role & Responsibilities Production Planning & Daily scheduling Conversion of Planned orders into Production orders in SAP (Bulk for MTS and daily input for Factory MTS) Release of Production orders in SAP Maintaining the Production order book clean (TECO /close unwanted/completed production orders) Capacity estimation and understanding the constraints impacting the capacity Monthly plan Indicate to Production team the monthly manufactured output required, and corresponding work center wise shifts likely required Weekly plan considering capacities/order management priorities Printed m-checks to be coordinated with Process/Tooling teams for data correctness before providing to Production teams Uploading of weekly press Plans in MES Co-ordination with Organic /Vitirfied team and agree on special heat cycle start dates Re-planning of non moulded m-checks in subsequent weeks plan Updating of weekly plans for criticalities if any based-on inputs from CSD Operational Efficiency Cleaning of order book in monthend to ensure correct MRP output Ensuring scheduling of orders between Early start and Late start dates Timely Scheduling of Bonds/processed RMs in line with inventory plans or as per FG schedules Ensuring load per firing cycle/Baking cycle as per norms to get maximum kiln/Baking efficiency Load monitoring and informing CSD for drop/increase in any speciality loads. Monitor Lying days of WIP and take it up with Production teams for early closure Cross-Functional Coordination Work with PMG/Process teams for timely change in RM changes based on stock availability Work with Production/Maintenance teams to ensure manning and machine availability as per load visible Work with SCM lead for an Effective and strucutured S&Op Work with IT/Finance/Production/Central supply chain for UPC error clearance in SAP/Aion KPI Tracking OTIF / 2nd OTIF Plan compliance (Press plan vs actuals, Kiln cycle loading components). Criticality commitment & adherence No of Press setup changes Planned System & Process Knowledge Have expertise in SAP (PP/MM module) & SAP interface systems (MES/Aion/Portal) Proficiency in Excel(Must have) Contribute in system development projects (APS/P2P/Demand forecasting Preferred candidate profile Females Preferred Btech Expertise on SAP PP/MM Module Opportunity to work in MNC
