Production Planner

Production and Material Planning:

• Generate and download the On-hand Order Report from the ERP system (M3 - C&D Report) to support monthly, weekly, and daily production planning.
• Create and distribute monthly production plans, further broken down into weekly and daily schedules, in coordination with shop floor supervisors.
• Oversee and adjust production schedules to accommodate breakdowns, urgent orders, and other unexpected changes.
• Continuously enhance skills with ERP system training and other planning tools to improve operational efficiency and accuracy in planning activities.
• Upon Forecast released by Sales , Planner need to organise the Resource Like Man , Machine and Material
• Work on S&OP meeting with Sales Evry month and understand the market situation and align the factory.
• Apply KANBAN planning board for planning activities

Coordination and Execution:

• Release production plans to shop floor supervisors for raw material allocation and ensure adherence to monthly and weekly schedules.
• Conduct daily review meetings with production teams to monitor progress and address any variances between planned and actual output.

Inventory and Order Management:

• Conduct RM (Raw Material) planning and release Purchase Order proposals weekly for non-standard materials and monthly for standard materials.
• Calculate and maintain safety stock levels, leveraging historical data on RM usage, MOQ groups, vessel capacity, and seasonal demand. Obtain approvals from the Business Manager and Controller.
• Plan raw material requirements based on sales forecasts, on-hand orders, and pending orders with technical and marketing teams.
• Plan SP&OP (Sales Planning & Operation Planning meeting with sales every month ,

Quality and Delivery Performance:

• Monitor and analyze On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Production Turnaround Time (TUT) for each Manufacturing Order (MO), conducting gap analysis for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure production quality standards are met alongside delivery commitments.
• Production Variance Monitoring and Control and submit the Report every month
• Work close with Shop and Ensure lead time on the MO within acceptable limit , Do gap analysis were ever lead time is more than the limit .

Vendor and Cost Management:

• Assign tasks to external vendors for specialized processes (e.g., threading, drilling, element manufacturing) and ensure they meet the planned schedules.
• Control production costs by managing material usage and operation times within set standards, focusing on unit economics.
• Planner is also responsible to Plan Subcontract factory,
• All the Consumable Materials Like Tools, Dies , Spools , Dies , Die shop consumable are to be monitored and planned for Smooth Production .

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all production planning activities.
• Maintain all documentation for ISO standards, preparing and organizing records for audit purposes.
• Support the shop floor in implementing the 5S system and safety practices within the factory.
• Provide guidance to vendors and suppliers to adhere to company safety guidelines while on-site.
