Production Operations Intern

Join the team incubated at CIIC & ARAI for a dynamic opportunity in the manufacturing industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand the assembly processes of various subassemblies. - Design and develop subassembly stations. - Design and develop special material handling equipment and conveyors. - Conduct work study and time study of the assembly process. - Optimize subassembly station layouts. - Communicate with vendors and support procurement of related components. - Implement ergonomics, safety, and 5S principles. **Qualifications Required:** - Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, ergonomics, and safety standards. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing layouts and equipment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor coordination and team collaboration. - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology is a plus.,
