Production Merchandiser (PD)

Dear Folks,

We have immediate requirement for Production Merchandiser.

Key responsibilities

• Product development: Lead the development of new product lines from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer preferences.
• Technical specification: Work with designers to create detailed specification (tech) packs, which include technical parameters, fabric details, and design sketches required for manufacturing.
• Sampling: Manage the entire sampling process, from initial proto samples to final approvals, ensuring that the product meets all quality and fit standards.
• Costing and pricing: Perform costings to ensure profitability targets are met and help establish competitive pricing strategies.
• Sourcing: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for fabric and material sourcing and purchase order preparation.
• Quality control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the final product meets the brand's quality standards.
• Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between buyers, designers, and the production team, ensuring clear communication and smooth workflow.

Required skills and qualifications

• Strong understanding of the entire product development lifecycle, from design to manufacturing.
• Excellent knowledge of fabrics, sampling techniques, costing, and quality control.
• Trend analysis and forecasting skills to inform product development decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
