Role Purpose

To manage day-to-day production activities by ensuring timely manufacturing of high-quality industrial drying systems and components as per design specifications, while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Production Planning

Execute the daily/weekly production plan and allocate manpower & machines

2. Process Supervision

Monitor fabrication, assembly, machining, welding, and finishing operations

3. Quality Compliance

Ensure adherence to quality standards during production stages

4. Coordination

Communicate with design, stores, and QA to resolve production-related issues

5. Downtime Reduction

Identify bottlenecks and reduce machine breakdowns and idle time

6. Production Documentation

Maintain logs for output, shift reports, job cards, and production checklists

7. Safety & Compliance

Enforce workplace safety, PPE usage, and statutory production compliance

8. Continuous Improvement

Suggest process improvements, productivity enhancements, and material savings

Core Competencies

• Understanding of

  fabrication processes, assembly, machining, welding, and painting

• Ability to read

  technical drawings, process sheets, and BOMs

• Experience in

  managing teams, shift operations, and production schedules

• Basic knowledge of

  TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S practices

• Familiarity with

  production ERP systems or SAP B1 Production Module

• Proficient in

  Excel, Word, and production tracking tools
