Production Executive

Role & responsibilities

Production Operations

• Manage day-to-day production activities for pharma, beauty, and cosmetic products.
  
• Execute batch manufacturing processes as per approved BMR/MFR and SOPs.
  
• Monitor dispensing, compounding, mixing, filling, and packing operations.
  
• Ensure all production activities comply with GMP/cGMP, GLP, and safety standards.
  
• Coordinate with QC/QA teams for in-process quality checks and batch release.
  

Process & Quality Compliance

• Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation.
  
• Ensure timely equipment calibration and adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
  
• Identify process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  
• Maintain clean room standards and hygiene protocols throughout the production area.
  
• Support validation and qualification activities (process, equipment, and cleaning).
  

Resource Management

• Coordinate manpower planning and manage shift operations.
  
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and required consumables.
  
• Optimize production efficiency by reducing wastage and improving yield.
  

Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with R&D, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflows.
  
• Prepare daily/weekly production reports and update production KPIs.
  
• Support new product trials, scale-ups, and formulation changes.
  

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

Technical Skills:

Good understanding of GMP/cGMP & regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of emulsions, creams, lotions, gels, and cosmetic formulations. Experience with MFR/BMR, SOPs, ERP/SAP, and production documentation.
