Position : Production Executive-Machine Shop

Location : Tirumudivakkam-Chennai

Our client specializes in Tier-2 automotive parts manufacturing, boasting a group turnover of 1,000 crores. Their Chennai plant contributes significantly with a turnover of 140 crores.

• Machining Operations Management:

• Oversee and manage all machining operations, including drilling, milling, boring, tapping, and lathe.
• Ensure optimal performance and maintenance of HMC, VMC, and CMC machines.
• Monitor and improve machining processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Production Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of production workers and machine operators.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage innovation among team members.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

• Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to enhance product designs and manufacturability.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including job orders, inventory levels, and maintenance logs.
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as cycle times, scrap rates, and machine utilization.
