Production Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet deadlines and optimize

output.

• Supervise and coordinate the assembly process for DG Sets
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, efficiency, and production timelines
• Expertise in MS 9000, 14000, 45000, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Problem solving tools
• Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain quality control procedures and ensure product conformance to specifications.
• Manage and maintain production equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Train and mentor production personnel on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., engineering, maintenance, quality) to optimize

production processes.

• Stay informed about and implement new technologies and best practices in manufacturing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects.
• Introduction and implementation of latest technology within the scope of work.
• Developing an effective team to understand customer requirement, statutory requirements

and process requirement. Take actions to enhance compliance with customer/Statutory

requirement.

• Formulating and guiding cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints, reduce

Rejections and process deviations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering

• 2 to 3 Years experience in a production environment (preferably in Machine Manufacturing /

Genset Industry)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques

• Proficiency in ERP will be an added advantage

• Experience in Genset (DG Set) assembly and testing will be an additional advantage

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Expertise in MS 9000, 14000, 45000, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Problem solving tools

• Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing etc.,

a plus).
