Electrical Engineer Construction of 315 MVA, 33/400 kV Borkhed Pooling Sub-Station

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Supervise all on-site electrical construction activities for the 315 MVA, 33/400 kV Borkhed Pooling Sub-Station, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and statutory codes in accordance with approved designs.
• Monitor project progress, coordinate resources, and ensure that all construction activities are completed as per the project schedule and milestones.
• Engage effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, local authorities, and community representatives, to ensure smooth project execution and address concerns promptly.
• Implement and monitor HSE protocols, including statutory compliances, PPE usage, and safe work practices for all personnel and contractors.
• Oversee the safe handling, installation, and alignment of transformers, switchgear, busbars, and auxiliary systems, ensuring all lifting and rigging is performed with certified equipment in proper condition.
• Conduct daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and enforce lockout/tagout procedures during equipment installation and energization.
• Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection, and fire safety systems are in place and tested as per standards.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance checklists.
• Coordinate with project management and safety teams to resolve site hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.

Electrical Engineer Construction of 400 kV 25.6 km Borkhed to Nandurghat Extra High Voltage (EHV) Tower Line

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Supervise erection and stringing of EHV transmission towers and conductors (up to 400 kV), ensuring all activities comply with safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Track project timelines, manage resources efficiently, and ensure that all EHV tower line construction activities adhere to the approved project schedule.
• Liaise with all relevant stakeholders, including landowners, local authorities, utility representatives, and community members, to facilitate permissions, resolve issues, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Enforce safe working clearances, proper use and condition of ropes, pulleys, and lifting equipment, and ensure all tools are regularly inspected and certified.
• Conduct site-specific risk assessments, daily safety briefings, and ensure all workers use appropriate PPE and follow safe work procedures during tower erection and conductor stringing.
• Monitor and control work at height, fall protection, and safe access to tower structures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and HSE management plans, including reporting of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, safety meetings, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, safety officers, and project managers to ensure timely and safe execution of all transmission line works.
