Job Description

As a Production Engineer at Franklin Electric, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing process of submersible motors. Your responsibilities will include: - Strong Knowledge of Motor Manufacturing Processes such as Winding, Varnishing, Machining, and Assembly - Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors for the successful installation of new plant and equipment - Conducting line trials, implementing new processes, and setting up a new production line - Reading drawings, test reports, and quality documents to ensure processes meet specified requirements - Performing PFMEA, GRR Test for new processes and machines, and taking corrective actions to improve outcomes - Detecting, measuring, analyzing production findings, and implementing corrective actions for improvement - Working towards achieving a target of 100% First Pass Yield in all production processes - Ensuring the implementation of ECN and CAPA - Training worker staff for new processes and proper operations of new equipment - Actively participating in the Safe Launch of Product - Performing Time Study in production operations - Working towards achieving over 85% productivity in production - Promoting KAIZEN, 5S philosophy, and ensuring implementation in production - Controlling Quality Systems, ISO Systems, PPEs, and Safety Standards at all lines - Supervising shop loading and reporting daily production status to management - Managing and motivating a team of more than 50+ Head counts (Operators and Worker staff) - Collaborating with Planning, Purchase, and Quality team to ensure smooth execution of monthly production plan and targets - Ensuring maintenance and proper functioning of facility equipment and machines - Actively participating and facing the period audits of IPQ, 5S, and ISO standards Your Skills and Knowledge should include: - Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality control - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field - Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in the manufacturing of submersible pumps and motors About Franklin Electric: Franklin Electric is a global leader in water and energy systems, dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation to meet customer needs.
