Job Description

Role & responsibilities Execute and monitor daily production plans to meet output and quality targets. Troubleshoot issues related to injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime. Drive productivity improvements through process optimization and cycle time reduction. Manage and allocate manpower effectively across shifts to ensure smooth operations. Monitor production parameters and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality. Analyze rejection trends and implement corrective and preventive measures to control rejection rates. Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely servicing and repairs of machines and equipment. Maintain production records, reports, and documentation as per company standards. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and housekeeping (5S) standards on the shop floor. Train and develop operators and junior staff on best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Preferred candidate profile Diploma/Degree in Plastic Engineering. 3-8 years of experience in injection molding production in a manufacturing environment. Strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes, machines and mold setups Hands-on experience in troubleshooting molding defects like short shots, flash, burn marks, warpage, etc. Good leadership and team management skills. Proficient in using MS Office and ERP systems for production reporting. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to data
