Job Description

plans, manages, and improves the production process for a company
Planning: Plan and schedule production processes, and ensure they run smoothly
Quality: Set quality standards, perform quality checks, and analyze production output
Cost: Devise methods to reduce costs, increase productivity, and raise profit
Safety: Establish safety procedures and policies, and identify and resolve unsafe practices
Communication: Communicate with clients, vendors, staff, and management
Training: Hire, train, and supervise production line workers
Documentation: Complete documentation, such as progress reports
Budgeting: Assess the company's finances to create a production budget
Materials: Order the necessary materials and machinery for production
Design: Develop designs for new products and processes
