Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
  • Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
  • Report any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Quality Assurance
  • Adhere to applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.

  • Conduct quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials.

  • Delivery and Operations
  • Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products meeting customer specifications.
  • Achieve production goals and adhere to required cycle times or engineering standards.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, performing routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with peers and skilled trades to identify and address equipment repairs.

  • Education, Licenses, Certifications:Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in service, production, testing, and installation of diesel genset control panels.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits and control panel electrical wiring/design.
  • Experience with high horsepower (HHP) genset installation and commissioning is essential.
  • Preferred:Experience with Cummins dealers and HHP certification.
  • Experience:n Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automobile Engineering.

    Position Reports to (Designation) : GM Installation & Commissioning leader
    Qualification Required: Diploma in Electrical & Electronics engg. / Mechanical engineering/ Automobile engineering
    Experience Requirement: Minimum 5 to 10 years, Cummins / Other reputed brand Diesel Genset control panel service/ production/ testing/ HHP genset installation & Comm. They should have minimum 5 to 10 years experience on trouble shooting complex electrical circuits, control panel electrical wiring and design, HHP gensets installation and commissioning. Having Cummins dealer working experience with HHP certification is highly preferred.
    Job Summary: To monitor and inspect installation and commissioning activities of every project executed in ICF including completion of installation and commissioning documents with the support of installation and commissioning leader.
    Responsibilities:
    Monitoring and confirming the availability of installation materials as per BOM with Railway / OEM at site.Ensure the Installation & Commissioning activities as per I&C check listAddressing BIS (Before in Service) quality issues during installation and arrange the spare parts.Ensure the pre-commissioning & Commissioning checks.Monitor the safety practices and compliances during the site entry and Installation.Co- ordinate with the customer for stagewise activity completion and interdependent activity support from other agencies.Ensure the completion certificate from the customer for payment.Skills / Competencies: Trouble shooting, Team working, Positive attitude
    Other specifications, if any. :Should be willing travel based on the requirement, Working with Rail application gensets is added advantage.
