Product Specialist IBM ODM

As a Product Specialist at Standard Chartered, you will play a key role in driving solutions to meet business requirements and user journeys. With a deep understanding of the product capabilities of the system/platform, you will collaborate with product owners, architects, vendors, and technology teams to innovate and deliver cutting-edge solutions. Your expertise in Wealth Journey / WM Advisory will be essential in working on product innovation alongside the team and product vendors. You will work closely with the product owner to develop product/system roadmaps that deliver fit-for-purpose capabilities, contributing to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in the ever-evolving digital landscape of the banking industry. Your responsibilities will include executing functional standards and best practices, prioritizing technical debt, contributing hands-on to squad delivery, evolving craft towards automation and simplification, adopting and embedding Change Delivery Standards, following risk management practices, ensuring governance standards compliance, and displaying exemplary conduct aligned with the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Key stakeholders you will engage with include Global Wealth Management Product Owners, Business & Technology Managers, and other key stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for embedding the bank's brand and values in the Wealth Journey squad and performing other assigned responsibilities under Group, Country, Business, or Functional policies and procedures. To excel in this role, you should have expertise in Java 11 and above with rules engine, databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Container Platforms like OCP, AKS, EKS, Agile Methodologies, Software Change Request Management, Application Delivery Process, and Technical Troubleshooting. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 12 years of experience in the IT industry and 5 years in WM Advisory systems.
