About the Role

Product Quality Engineer I

This role is ideal for someone who has strong testing fundamentals, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases
• Perform

  functional, regression, UI, API, and integration testing

• Work closely with development teams during sprint cycles to validate features and enhancements
• Identify, document, and track bugs to closure using standard defect-tracking systems
• Support

  test automation

  by creating and executing automated scripts (preferred)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness and product stability
• Participate in

  Scrum/Agile ceremonies

  and contribute to continuous quality improvements
• Maintain test documentation and provide quality reports to stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 24 years of experience

  in software testing / quality engineering
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC,

  STLC,

  Agile methodologies

• Hands-on experience in

  manual testing

• Familiarity with

  API testing

  tools

  (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
• Basic knowledge of

  SQL

  for data validation
• Experience in logging and tracking defects using tools like

  Jira

• Good understanding of UI testing and basic debugging skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in

  automation tools

  (Selenium, TestNG, Playwright, Cypress or similar)
• Knowledge of

  CI/CD pipelines

  and version control (Git)
• Exposure to cloud platforms like

  AWS / GCP / Azure

• Experience working in SaaS / Product-based environments
