Job Title: Product Engineer About Us: We are an engineering and technology driven organization with a focus on Electronic Security, Fire Safety, Plant Communication & Digital AI based solutions. We have expertise in executing turnkey solutions catering to all aspects like design & engineering, project management, commissioning, and life cycle management. We serve our clients across the industry in various sectors like Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Steel, Mining, Cement, Transportation, and other critical infrastructure including Hospitals, Airports etc. Role: Product Development & Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that meet market requirements and industry standards. Evaluate and select appropriate components, materials, and technologies to ensure optimal product performance. Testing & Validation: Conduct testing and validation of products, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory standards (e.g., IP ratings for ex-pr oof cameras). Trouble shoot and resolve technical issues during the product development lifecycle. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned products, from concept to end-of-life, including updates, improvements, and enhancements. Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documents, including datasheets, user manuals, and installation guides. Maintain accurate records of product specifications, test results, and changes. Customer Support: Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams. Assist in resolving customer queries related to product performance and functionality. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. Experience: 2+ years of experience in product engineering or a related role in the security and surveillance industry. Must have experience in Product compliances (Network switches. CCTV etc.). Technical Expertise: Knowledge of hardware and firmware development. Familiarity with IP networks, PoE, ONVIF protocols, and cybersecurity standards.
