Product Owner

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As a Product Owner at CIMET, you will play a critical role in driving the development and delivery of our customer-facing platforms and internal systems. You will act as the bridge between business, technology, and design teams, defining and prioritizing product features, translating business requirements into technical stories, and ensuring the product delivers maximum value in a fast-paced, agile environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Vision & Roadmap Execution

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the product vision, business goals, and user needs.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and actionable user stories.
• Manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities and technical feasibility.

Agile Project Management

• Work closely with Scrum teams (developers, testers, designers) to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Own the success of sprint outcomes and ensure delivery aligns with the defined roadmap.

Stakeholder Communication & Alignment

• Serve as the voice of the customer and business across product teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across India, Australia, and the Philippines.
• Provide regular product updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Feature Definition & Prioritization

• Define user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog items using data-driven decision-making (value vs effort, ROI, etc.).
• Evaluate trade-offs between scope, time, and resources.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor product performance metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for

improvement.

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate releases with tech and QA teams.
• Recommend product enhancements based on competitive analysis and customer feedback.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 47 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product lifecycle, and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• Experience working on B2B/B2C platforms—preferably in fintech, SaaS, or energy/telecom comparison domains.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in business terms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.
• Experience working with remote, cross-border product teams.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and customer-centric design thinking
