About the Role

Enable and inspire a multi-squad team to successfully deliver capabilities for the banking ecosystem. The Product Owner looks after and manages the roadmap of capabilities across all services developed and operated within the asset. The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the value streams mission and the key architectural principles defined in Cross Product Platform. The role is responsible for interacting with key stakeholders from architecture, business, product management and leadership to support the delivery of new capabilities, with minimization of technical debt, and a focus on building capabilities strategically.

As a Product Owner in this role, you will join a vibrant and multi-disciplinary community, with a high-pace delivery across multiple value streams. Abilities to react promptly to change, devise course correction, identify impacts and consequences of such changes are essential.

What will your day look like?

  • Curating the roadmap and the planning of new services.
  • Working with Product Owners to coordinate new feature design, implementation, and delivery requiring Lightning services.
  • Prepare, engage and support people to successfully deliver, embed and adapt to change which safely drives desired outcomes.
  • Planning and prioritizing what needs to be done (including people, process and technology implications) to deliver upon customer / user needs and strategic priorities. This includes identifying, planning for, tracking and resolving dependencies.
  • Formulating what needs to be achieved by understanding current and future customer / user needs and business objectives.

  • Ability to adapt and grasp new skills and content.
  • Experience in working and managing others in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in delivery change.
  • Experience in coordinating and prioritizing competing priorities.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and analysis.
  • Understanding of CI / CD processes.
  • Understanding of Source Code Management practices and tooling (GitHub, PR reviews)
  • Understanding of Release Management processes.
