Role and Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define the vision, roadmap, and objectives for clients post purchase services, aligning with the companys post-purchase and data strategy goals.
- Drive along with engineering teams to support a range of features across order tracking, returns, exchanges, customer communications, and loyalty engagement, leveraging user transaction data.
- Translate client’s digital transformation goals into actionable technical product strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, streamline processes, and maximize data utility.
Services Product Development
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement data pipelines, storage, and retrieval systems that ensure high data integrity, security, and accessibility.
- Lead data architecture discussions, focusing on enabling a scalable, performant backend that supports real-time insights and data-driven decision-making.
- Define and prioritize product requirements, balancing business and technical considerations to ensure smooth product delivery and scalability.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams across client’s global tech hubs to ensure the data hub meets diverse requirements for post-purchase use cases.
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, clearly articulating product capabilities, limitations, and opportunities.
Data Enablement & Analytics
- Oversee the data hub’s role in supporting predictive analytics, enabling client teams to analyze post-purchase trends, customer behaviours, and feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with data analytics teams to identify opportunities for data enrichment and advanced analytics, integrating AI and machine learning as appropriate.
Compliance, Privacy, and Security
- Ensure that the data hub complies with all regulatory requirements, including data privacy, data security, and data residency mandates in multiple regions.
- Work with security and legal teams to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulations related to handling customer data.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the data hub’s success, such as uptime, response time, data latency, and usage statistics.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement, working to optimize data accessibility, reliability, and speed to enhance post-purchase experiences.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and continuous optimization of our Commerce Services platform. These services power the core checkout experience — including cart, shipping, payments, order submission, and third-party integrations global digital ecosystem.
You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our commerce services are optimized to support business objectives, reduce discrepancies, and deliver secure, frictionless, and delightful guest experiences at scale.
Define Product Vision & Strategy:
Develop and communicate a clear, actionable product vision for commerce Services that aligns with business goals, market demands, and guest needs.Roadmap Development:
Manage product roadmaps for commerce services, balancing long-term innovation with immediate business needs.Cross-Functional Collaboration
: Partner closely with engineering, operations, and other business units to ensure seamless integration of systems across all digital channels.Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for commerce services with gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into actionable product requirements. Drive portfolio-level prioritization across multiple servicesGuest-Centric Focus:
Prioritize features and enhancements that improve the guest experience and drive business metrics improvements.Vendor & Partner Relations:
Manage relationships with third-party inventory management platforms, and other external service providers to ensure scalability, stability, and performance.Innovation & Industry Trends:
Stay ahead of industry trends in e-commerce and AI trends supporting commerce features, digital payments to continually push forward-thinking solutions.
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in working with API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in enhancing customer experience through data.
