Product Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Product Manager/Senior Product Manager to join our Centre of Digital Transformation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, with experience in driving digital transformation initiatives in fast-paced environments such as startups. They should be able to run competitor analysis to benchmark their product and to drive the product roadmap. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products, contributing to the product roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value to UPLs global business.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap:

   Define and own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and digital transformation goals.

• Competitor Analysis:

   Perform detailed competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, and use these insights to shape product features and strategy.

• Stakeholder Management:

   Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, engineers, marketing, and external partners to ensure smooth product execution.

• Ownership & Accountability:

  Drive product initiatives with a high level of ownership, demonstrating the scrappiness and agility needed to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

• Cross-functional Leadership:

   Work closely with design, engineering, and other teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.

• User Research & Feedback:

   Leverage user feedback and market research to continuously improve product features and usability and to drive product adoption.

• Data-driven Decision Making:

   Utilize data and KPIs to guide product decisions, ensuring alignment with both short-term and long-term business goals.

• Innovation & Problem Solving:

   Identify and champion new opportunities for innovation within UPL’s digital ecosystem, particularly those that improve processes, increase efficiency, and deliver value to the end-user.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:

   4-7 years of total experience, with at least 3-4 years in product management.

• Ownership:

   Proven ability to take full ownership of product initiatives, from concept to execution.

• Agility & Adaptability:

   Ability to thrive in fast-paced, startup-like environments with a hands-on approach.

• Competitor & Market Analysis:

   Proven track record in conducting competitor and market analysis, with the ability to derive actionable insights that inform product development.

• Stakeholder Management:

   Strong experience in managing and communicating with diverse stakeholders across different functions.

• Problem Solving:

   Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions and results.

• Analytical Skills:

   Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to inform product strategy.

• Communication:

   Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

• Technical Aptitude:

   Understanding of the technical aspects of product development is an advantage.

• Industry Knowledge:

   Understanding of agriculture, crop protection, manufacturing or related industries is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer Science preferred), or a related field.
• MBA from a top tier school is a plus.
