Product Manager (Database)

Title : Product Manager

Fundamental understanding of databases, data warehouses, and SQL. While we don't need an expert, we require someone who can translate database-specific requirements into Epics, Features, and Stories.

Overview
Technology Strategy and Transformation team is looking for a Lead, Product Manager Technical (PM-T) responsible for owning and driving the projects related to Agile Work Management (Rally/Jira, and Aha), and strategic efforts such as Rally to Jira migration etc. Work closely with developers, testers, and business teams to identify user, data and system needs in the design of new or enhanced workflow solutions.

The Role

• Analyse data from data warehouse and based on analysis results promote rewards, loyalty programs to customers such as Acquirer, issuer or Merchants.
• For Ex If any customer surpassed the threshold limit for any BIN or product i.e. Debit or Credit then provide some rewards to customer.
• Analysis for gather data in DB and identify patterns, spending trends etc. to predict customer behaviour.
• Need to well versed with DB queries to collect data from DB.
• IBM DB2 used to store data
  • Collaborate with all project stakeholders, including process owners, to write quality complete high level product requirements using Agile SAFe methodology. •Partner closely with a focused development team to create and execute detailed functional requirements in order to ensure business objectives are met and a functional, high-quality product is delivered in a timely manner.
• Translating requirements from business and product owners into features to development teams.
• Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business stakeholders.
• Drive requirement/process discussions within the team
• Identify opportunities to improve an overall process and trim waste.
• Perform demos/acceptance discussions in interacting with Product owners.
• Foster a culture of dedication, teamwork, problem solving, and continuous improvement
• Conduct independent research to analyze information and data needed for requirement development.
• Driving Scrum ceremonies like PI planning, Scrum Meeting, Retrospective, Product Demo, Product discovery sessions, Requirement Grooming etc.

All About You
•Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. •Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment. •Verbal and written communication skills, ability to create effective requirements documents and review them with key project stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization. Excellent time management skills. •Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities. •Great knowledge of IT processes and willingness to constantly update knowledge Experience

• 10+

  years of experience in Technical Product management •Experience with technical product management and development teams •Experience working directly with engineers to define and plan technical product •Experience working in a partner/client facing role •Ability to deliver with limited guidance •Able to manage through areas with ambiguity to bring solution or lead discussions to get to solution •Knowledge of Payment domain and its surrounding systems, Payments space •Fast learner on both the technical and business side •Is proactive and operates with a sense of urgency and 'can do' attitude •Strategic problem solver who can balance big picture strategy with detailed execution •Ability to stay organized while handling competing priorities •Extensive hands-on experience with developing project roadmaps, story outlines, writing user stories, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment •Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of Agile framework
• Knowledge of tools like Jira, Aha.
