Job Description

As a Product Executive in the Travel Industry, your role involves designing unique travel experiences, curating domestic and international packages, managing vendor relationships, and crafting cost-effective itineraries. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop travel packages for domestic and international destinations. - Curate unique experiences tailored to customer interests, seasonality, and market trends. - Create cost-effective itineraries that maintain high quality standards. - Establish and maintain relationships with hotels, transport providers, tour operators, and DMCs. - Negotiate favorable rates and inclusions to optimize margins. - Ensure consistent adherence to vendor SLAs (Service Level Agreements). - Perform cost analysis and pricing for all travel products. - Maintain competitive pricing strategies while ensuring profitability. - Regularly update costing sheets to reflect changes in FX rates, taxes, and supplier rates. - Prepare accurate and attractive package details including itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, and T&Cs. - Share brochures, flyers, and digital assets with sales and marketing teams. - Ensure all content is clear, error-free, and regularly updated. - Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify gaps and opportunities. - Stay informed about industry trends, new destinations, and customer preferences. - Recommend product line changes or additions based on research. - Conduct training sessions for sales and customer support teams on new packages. - Provide detailed product notes and selling tips for each destination. - Act as a subject matter expert for travel consultants. - Audit and review trips post-travel based on feedback and partner reports. - Suggest improvements in services, logistics, or experiences to enhance customer satisfaction. - Ensure each package delivers the promised experience and inclusions. - Coordinate with vendors to ensure availability during peak seasons. - Block inventories for group departures or special events. - Manage booking windows and cut-off dates efficiently. - Provide marketing team with content for promotions, social media, and ads. - Assist in crafting promotional strategies for new or high-margin products. - Recommend packages suitable for specific campaigns or seasons.
