Product Engineering Manager

Website: https://www.wdtablesystems.com We are seeking an experienced Product Engineering Manager to lead, manage, and report on the various hardware and software engineering projects and activities within the SWE organisation. In this role, you will have significant exposure to and engagement with the broader WDTS global business. Responsibilities: - Ensures end-to-end product architecture and requirements by coordinating with Product Management and Architecture teams. - Ensures alignment between software, mechanical, and electrical. - Ensuring integration readiness for each product milestone. - Lead the design and implementation of the engineering function (hardware & software) within WDTS India. - Improve and ensure adherence to engineering processes, governance standards, tools, and templates. - Train and support teams in adopting engineering and product development processes. - Ensure effective use of development, testing, tracking, and communication tools. - Support the Management Team in prioritizing and assigning engineering work across teams. - Communicate regularly with teams, stakeholders, and the broader business on activities, issues, and risks. - Lead technical documentation, design reviews, and team collaboration. - Track and update product activities, milestones, tasks, and change management systems. - Support additional projects and tasks aligned with engineering capabilities. Requirements: - Resourceful, with strong problem-solving and resolution skills. - Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or a related technical field. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - 12+ years in hardware and software product development, with significant leadership experience. - Strong process improvement and governance expertise. - Experience managing stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment.
