Product Development Support Manager

As a Product Development Support Manager at a leading manufacturer of precision tools for engineering of micro/nano structures in Bristol, your primary objective is to lead a team that resolves day-to-day technology issues impacting the Operations and Service Teams. You will be responsible for managing a team of experts and fostering strong relationships with various functions within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of the existing IDG Kanban system for scheduling and managing technical issues, agreeing on prioritization and delivery schedules with Operations and Service Departments. - Develop strong relationships between your team and key functions such as Operations, Service, and others. - Share and increase the technical know-how within the team and educate them on problem-solving methodologies. - Organize, resource, and develop your team to achieve objectives, strategies, and long-term plans. - Collaborate with other Senior Managers to identify root causes of repeat issues and assist in developing processes to prevent reoccurrence. - Drive effective performance of health, safety, and environment management systems, ensuring implementation and continuous improvement within the frameworks. Experience: - Proven track record in managing manufacturing and product development teams. - Direct experience in the Semiconductor Capital Equipment Market. Qualifications: - Ideally, hold a Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
