Product Development Engineer I

Job Requirements

• We're seeking a full-time, Phenomenal Product Development Engineer to bridge the gap between the security and Engineering teams. This position is responsible for prioritizing and helping resolve vulnerabilities in the ITX Platform. The Engineer will provide hands-on assistance to development teams to fix security issues, implement secure coding practices, and proactively reduce security risks across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

What You'll Do

• Work closely with development teams todevelop scalable, secure, and highly efficient backend services and systems
• Design, develop, and test products and features to meet security needs and specifications
• Troubleshoot and debug product security issues
• Collaborate with other engineers and teams to ensure product security and quality
• Develop and maintain product documentation
• Monitor and analyze product performance and resilience
• Develop and implement product security improvement plans and test cases
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and security best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Must Have

• Engineering Graduates / Post-Graduates in Computer Science,Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Specialized Knowledge

• 2- 3 years of Software Development experience in Java/Python, Angular/React, Node Js, Mongo DB, Microservices, Design Patterns, NoSQL, Kubernetes
• Strong experience in JavaScript, React/Angular
• Hands-on coding experience is mandatory
• Experience with Cloud (AWS) deployments
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and security best practices.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for secure coding and application security.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and fix complex security issues.
