Product Development Engineer I

• Phenom People is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Engineer II - Backend to join our growing team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. As a Product Development Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge products. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new features and functionalities for our backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our products
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Experience with database design and management, preferably with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of web services and API development
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Passion for learning and staying updated with new technologies

Additional Parameters:

• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Work Experience

What you've done

• 1 - 3 years of Software Development experience in Core Java, MongoDB, Algorithm, Data Structures, Design Patterns.,
• Strong experience with Micro services and distributed systems.
• Experience in defining architecture and leading teams in design & development
• Experience with Cloud (AWS and Azure) deployments
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Engineering Graduates / Post-Graduates from premier institutions are preferred. Graduates fromIIT,BITS,&NIT are preferred.
• More than 5 - 8 years of hands on product engineering experience
