Job Description

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

Work closely with engineers to design parts of a full-scale physical product (not app UI).
Create sketches, basic CAD, and physical mockups for enclosure, access panels, and interactions.
Think through real-world usage: cleaning, harvesting, maintenance, light spill, and wear.
Participate in prototype testing and on-site installations to observe real user behavior.
Iterate designs based on constraints, failures, and feedback, not just aesthetics.
