Product Analyst

Job Purpose

The Product Analyst will support the development and deployment of new and existing healthcare revenue cycle products, connect with stakeholders to understand business needs, and support the enterprise vision of driving better results through intelligent technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate on scrum teams, support the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, communicating with stakeholders throughout the project.
• Work with internal and external contacts to understand key business processes and gather requirements for product enhancements.
• Work closely with the Product Owner/Manager to create a product backlog based on business value and support the delivery of product roadmap commitments.
• Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of various stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain product documentation including release notes and user-facing articles.
• Deliver data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
• Support product demos and user acceptance testing.
• Assist with production releases and post-release monitoring.
• Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful completion of release/sprint goals.
• Work with the Product Owner/Manager on priorities and day-to-day execution, while exercising strong decision making across the team.
• Use, protect and disclose patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare processes and/or revenue cycle preferred
• Experience working in SDLC tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps preferred
• 1-3+ years’ experience in product development or directly supporting end users (product support, technical writing, product training, product marketing)
• Customer-first mindset
• Curiosity to ask the right questions, motivated to find the answers to ensure the best possible decisions are made
• Demonstrate critical thinking, ability to bring order to unstructured problems
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs

Working Conditions

• Work Schedule: US Hours 9AM - 5PM EST
• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.
• Mental Demands: The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress.
• Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
