Product Analyst

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily product control processes for FX and Equities to ensure accuracy in valuation, P&L, and reporting.
• Collaborate with trading desks, risk, and finance teams to analyze product performance and risk exposure.
• Perform regular reconciliations, investigate breaks, and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Monitor market trends and assess their impact on FX and Equities portfolios.
• Design, implement, and strengthen internal controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.
• Prepare timely and accurate management reports and support regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Support the automation and enhancement of product control processes and reporting frameworks.

Skills Required:

• Technical/Domain Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Product Control, FX, and Equities
• Good understanding of derivatives, valuation concepts, and financial markets
• Experience in P&L reporting, reconciliations, and risk analysis
• Analytical & Communication Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication to liaise with global stakeholders
• Tools/Technology:
• Proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL or other analytical/reporting tools preferred
• Familiarity with financial systems such as Murex, Calypso, or similar platforms is an added advantage

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CA would be an advantage.
