Job Description

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for raw materials, consumables, and services.
Float RFQs, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate for best price, quality, and delivery terms.
Ensure timely procurement while optimizing cost, quality, and supplier performance.
Maintain and update approved vendor lists and procurement databases.
Coordinate with internal departments (Production, QA, Finance, Projects) for requirement finalization.
Implement and monitor procurement policies, procedures, and ERP processes.
Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, supply agreements, and service agreements.
Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
Negotiate terms and conditions related to price, delivery, payment, penalties (LD), warranty, confidentiality, and performance obligations.
Monitor contract performance, compliance, renewals, and dispute resolution.
Maintain contract records, repository, and ensure proper documentation.
Support audits, compliance checks, and internal reporting.
Prepare MIS reports related to procurement and contracts.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP).
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce / Management / Law.
Preferred: Diploma or Certification in Contracts Management / Supply Chain / Legal Aspects of Business.
Experience: 5-10 years in procurement and contract management
