Job Description

The Strategic Vendor Solutions (SVS) Purchasing Coordinator (PC) supports the overall purchasing process for Cotiviti, with specific focus on purchases originating in and supporting Cotivitis India office locations. This includes the administrative process within Cotiviti’s purchasing system, quality assurance checks for Purchasing Request, support to Business Units/Requesters, and assignment of contract requests in the purchasing system, where applicable. This role will also provide additional support in the purchasing process/system to support Cotiviti US office locations. Process management, analysis, critical thinking, and attention to details are fundamental parts of this role. Role & responsibilities Support SVS in the overall vendor onboarding and purchasing process. Manage incoming contract/purchasing requests from Business Units/Requesters Review requests for accuracy and initiate the approval process. Other actions required after the Purchase Request is complete and Purchase Orders are issued may also include confirming/assisting with the receipt of goods or services and invoice approval, assisting Requesters with document retrieval, etc. Assist with and manage, where applicable, the document review process for contracts on behalf of Business Unit requesters. Verify completed risk assessments within the Cotiviti risk assessment tool Assign requests to the appropriate SVS Buyer within the purchasing system, following the category management guidelines of the SVS team, where applicable. Drive overall flow of Purchase Requests/Purchase Orders, identify potential issues in the process, and assist Business Units with questions as requested. Ensure details are accurately captured in the purchasing system (contract type, requester, vendor details, start/end date, etc.). Help collect and report contracting metrics for monthly and quarterly reporting. Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. Preferred candidate profile Requires strong attention to detail Requires the ability to manage a high volume of contract requests in a timely manner Must have the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to think critically and identify process issues/bottlenecks Ability to operate/learn multiple software systems and follow established guidelines
