Job Description

As a Procurement Practice Senior Analyst at Accenture, your role involves going beyond processing purchase orders to help clients achieve savings and value from their expenditures on goods and services. You will work as part of the Procurement management team, utilizing a systematic approach to procure goods and services necessary for a company's sustainability. This includes identifying needs, qualifying suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating contracts, ensuring delivery, and analyzing outcomes. Your responsibilities include understanding and utilizing request for proposal (RFP) and request for quotation (RFQ) processes, as well as collecting and analyzing information to assess and select suppliers efficiently. What are we looking for in a candidate for this role You should have exposure to category planning, stakeholder management, global sourcing, and a solid understanding of the supplier landscape across various sourcing categories. Hands-on experience in RFx processes and supplier proposal analysis is crucial. Strong analytical and presentation skills are essential for success in this role. In this position, you will analyze and solve complex problems, interact with peers within Accenture, and occasionally engage with clients or Accenture management. Your decisions will impact your work and potentially that of others. This role may require you to work in rotational shifts. Key Responsibilities: - Support sourcing projects, including strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, and supplier contract execution, using an Agile approach for efficiency. - Conduct industry and supplier research, market intelligence, and financial analyses for clients. - Develop market insights from cross-client sourcing activities and collaborate with category advisors to share knowledge. - Cultivate client stakeholder relationships, assist with reporting and team management, and contribute to Category Strategy development. - Collaborate with legal and technical teams to negotiate and execute contract terms. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. - 5 to 8 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
