Procurement Head Offset Printing

As a Procurement Officer, your primary responsibility will be preparing purchase orders and engaging with vendors to maintain continuous relationships. You will be tasked with identifying new vendors and developing backup purchase plans to ensure seamless operations. You will be responsible for stock allocation based on strategic requirements and ensuring timely material availability while maintaining stock levels as per guidelines. Reporting directly to the SCM Head, you will be required to maintain updated purchasing records and pricing information in the system. Your duties will include planning and procuring materials as per the company's requirements and following up with suppliers/vendors regarding materials, dispatches, or any technical issues that may arise. Effective communication via phone and email will be essential in this role. In the event of rejected materials from stores, you will be responsible for liaising with the quality control department, obtaining reports, and coordinating returns to the vendors. Additionally, you will handle day-to-day petty cash transactions and local purchases. Working towards the common goal of customer satisfaction, you will be expected to utilize your knowledge of Finsys ERP, Tally, and Sistrade systems to streamline procurement processes effectively. This is a full-time position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, and provident fund. The work schedule is during day shifts, and the ideal candidate should have a total of 10 years of work experience, with a minimum of 10 years in Offset Printing and Packaging.
