Roles & Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, components, or finished goods from international and domestic suppliers.
• Manage RFQs (Request for Quotations), price negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for shipment planning and execution
• Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, including customs, DGFT, FTP (Foreign Trade Policy), BIS, etc.
• Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, BOE (Bill of Entry), LC (Letter of Credit), COO (Certificate of Origin), etc.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and CHA (Customs House Agents) for timely clearance
• Maintain strong relationships with international vendors and logistics providers.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure quality, delivery, and cost benchmarks.
• Collaborate with internal teams: planning, warehouse, accounts, and production
• Monitor landed cost calculations including duties, freight, insurance, and taxes.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels and manage safety stocks and reorder levels.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and lead time reduction
• Prepare and execute Exim strategies
• Focus on process automation
• Responsible for IATF audit (zero NC) for related commodity
