Role & responsibilities : 1. Cost Estimation & Budgeting Prepare detailed cost estimates , BOQs (Bill of Quantities) , and rate analyses for MEP and electrical projects. Evaluate drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope and quantities. Prepare preliminary budgets and assist in project cost planning. 2. Tendering & Bidding Support Support the preparation of tender submissions , including cost breakdowns and technical clarifications. Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams for vendor quotations and material rate finalization . Analyze subcontractor quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness. 3. Contract Administration Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, variations, and change orders . Maintain all contractual and commercial documentation related to assigned projects. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and client requirements . 4. Project Cost Control & Monitoring Track and monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures on a regular basis. Prepare cost-to-complete reports and highlight deviations from approved budgets. Conduct value engineering to optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality. 5. Measurement & Valuation Conduct on-site quantity measurements and verify subcontractor claims. Prepare interim payment certificates (IPC) , work progress reports , and final accounts . Validate and certify subcontractor and supplier bills in coordination with site and accounts teams. 6. Coordination & Communication Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Finance teams. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for smooth project execution. Provide technical and commercial input during project reviews. 7. Reporting & Documentation Maintain detailed project documentation for cost, progress, and variations . Prepare monthly cost reports and assist in management presentations. Ensure all records comply with company and client standards . Preferred candidate profile Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 4 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or MEP/electrical projects . Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP software. Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
